How to Eat Crawfish
Crawfish are popular in Louisiana and a staple in Cajun cuisine. If you enjoy shellfish and haven’t tried crawfish, you’ll likely enjoy it!

Ingredients
- 2 lbs cooked crawfish
- melted butter
Instructions
- Remove the head of the cooked crawfish by gently twisting and pulling.
- If you like, you can suck the savory juices from the head of the crawfish. Discard the head if you prefer to skip this part.
- Crack the shell of the tail by pinching and pulling to reveal the tender meat inside.
- Devein the crawfish by holding the tail in one hand and using the other to peel back the outer layer of skin and remove the vein.
- Dip the tail in the melted butter or your favorite seafood boil sauce. Enjoy!
