How to Grill Steak

Learning how to to grill steak is not as hard as you think! Juicy, delicious, and perfectly cooked it to your preferred doneness every time.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 lemons juiced
  • 4 steaks see note

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a zipper top bag or bowl.
  2. Let marinate for at least an hour, up to overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill on high. Clean it if necessary.
  4. If your grill has a temperature guage, it should be between 450º-500º.
  5. Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4 minutes on each side.
  6. They should be cooked rare when cooked on that long, use a meat thermometer to be sure.

Notes

  • The steaks you use should be at least 1-inch thick. I like to use ribeyes, t-bones, or New York strips.
