How to make Almond Butter

Make your own almond butter! Skip the store-bought, get out your food processor, and watch the magic! Just 1 ingredient!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw almonds plain, unsalted
  • sea salt optional
  • cinnamon optional
  • honey or maple syrup, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spread the almonds in a single layer, and bake for 10-15 minutes, mixing them around a couple of times during roasting.
  3. With the motor running on your food processor, pour handfuls at a time through the food chute. It will look a lot like almond meal first up. Keep going!

  • Recipe yield is about 1 and 3/4 cups of almond butter
