Ingredients

Kitchen Gadgets:
  • Bread Maker
  • Bread Slicer
Bread Maker Recipe Ingredients:
  • 500 g plain flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 50 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 50 ml milk
  • 1 Tsp salt
  • ¾ Tsp yeast
  • 200 ml water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place 200ml of water into the bottom of your bread maker.
  2. Place all the other ingredients into the bread maker (apart from the yeast). Then sprinkle the yeast over the top of the ingredients.
  3. Place the lid on the bread maker and cook on the desired bread setting.
  4. It will then start the process and take approximately 1hr45 to 3 hours to cook depending on the bread setting including kneading the bread for you.
  5. Place on a cooling rack then a bread board.
  6. Slice when cooled

Notes

  • We always make a 2lb loaf using the quick bread setting. This takes just 1 hour 48 minutes. However, if we used the soft bread it would take almost 3 hours.
  • We normally use semi skimmed milk. But you could also use skimmed milk or whole milk. Just use what you have in your fridge.
