Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw hazelnuts or roasted store-bought hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup coconut sugar or any other powdered sweetener of your choice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  1. If using raw hazelnuts, preheat the oven to 400 F. Add the hazelnut over a sheet pan and bake for 6-8 minutes until they start to brown.
  2. Once cooled, using your hands or cloth, rub the toasted hazelnuts together until most of the skin comes off. You do not need to peel completely.
  3. Using a high-powered blender like a Vitamix or food processor, blend the nuts until they are smooth.
  4. Next, add all other ingredients and blend for 1-3 minutes until you get a creamy smooth Nutella-like texture!
