Ingredients

  • 1 bunch bag of kale or 1 medium bunch kale
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt to taste

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Wash kale leaves and dry well.
  4. Using a kitchen scissors or a small knife trim off the thick ribs pieces.
  5. Cut the kale into approximately two-inch pieces.
  6. Add the oil to a large bowl.
  7. Add the kale and toss thoroughly. Make sure that each piece is covered with the oil. That 1 tablespoon goes farther than you think.
  8. Lay the kale in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 8 - 12 minutes, until crisp. Check at 8 minutes and add time if needed. Do not burn. The curly kale will take longer than flat kale. My curly kale took right at 12 minutes and it was perfect!
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes.
  11. ENJOY!!!
