How to Make Kale Chips

These addictive Kale Chips are the best little crunchy snack. With just a tad of oil and sea salt, you can transform this super healthy vegetable into a favorite treat.

Ingredients
- 1 bunch bag of kale or 1 medium bunch kale
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil or olive oil
- ¼ teaspoon sea salt to taste

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Wash kale leaves and dry well.
- Using a kitchen scissors or a small knife trim off the thick ribs pieces.
- Cut the kale into approximately two-inch pieces.
- Add the oil to a large bowl.
- Add the kale and toss thoroughly. Make sure that each piece is covered with the oil. That 1 tablespoon goes farther than you think.
- Lay the kale in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 8 - 12 minutes, until crisp. Check at 8 minutes and add time if needed. Do not burn. The curly kale will take longer than flat kale. My curly kale took right at 12 minutes and it was perfect!
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes.
- ENJOY!!!
