How to Make Keto Bread

How many carbs are in bread? Can you have bread on keto? If you are following a keto diet, bread can be a difficult food item to incorporate due to its high carb content. In this post, we’ll discuss the carb content of different types of bread and share with you some of our favorite keto-friendly bread recipes.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, olive oil, and water.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the bread cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
