Ingredients
Taco Seasoning
- 1/4 cup mild chili powder
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes optional
For Taco Meat
- 1 pound ground beef
- 2/3 cups water
- 6 taco shells

Instructions
- Mix taco seasoning ingredients together. This makes about 1/2 cup of seasoning. You will only use 3 tablespoons of the mix and you can save the rest for later. It has a shelf life of about a year.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain off excess grease.
- Add 3 tablespoons of taco seasoning and 2/3 cup water. Stir to combine and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add ground beef to taco shells.
- Top with your favorite taco toppings and serve.
