Ingredients

  • 8 breaded leftover chicken wings

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Bring leftover chicken to room temperature.
  2. Preheat Air Fryer to 375F / 190C.
  3. Place leftover fried chicken wings into the air fryer basket leaving space between them.
  4. Cook for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  5. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure chicken is heated through and has reached 165F / 74C. Then serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • Let the chicken come to room temperature for about 20 minutes which will help with crisping up and to ensure that the chicken will be heated all the way through.
  • Reheat wings that are similar sized together. That way you end up with meat that has cooked at the same rate.
  • If you want the wings crispier, then spray with a tiny amount of olive oil a couple of minutes before taking them out.
  • While you are reheating the chicken, keep a close watch on it. 5 minutes is an average cooking time, but you may need more or less depending on the size of your chicken pieces.
  • Don’t overcrowd the basket. Make sure there is space between the wings so the hot air can circulate and crisp them up.
  • If your chicken looks dryish, then spray it with a little water before adding it to the air fryer basket.
  • Storage - Keep in an airtight container inside the refrigerator for 3 days.
  • There are 8 WW Blue Plan SmartPoints in one serving of this.
