Ingredients

  • 1 spaghetti squash
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees (F).
  2. Place squash on a large cutting board, and VERY carefully cut in half (lengthwise). The shell is very thick, so be sure to use a sharp knife for this.
  3. Once cut, use a spoon to scoop out the seeds and any sticky/stringy parts, being careful not to dig into the actual flesh of the squash.
  4. Place squash in a large skillet or baking sheet, then place the pan in the oven. Pour water into bottom of the pan.
  5. Roast squash for 45 minutes.
  6. When finished roasting, remove pan from the oven and allow it to cool down for about 10 minutes.
  7. Once you're able to comfortably handle the squash, use a fork and gently scrape the at the flesh.
  8. Continue to do this until all of the squash has been scraped.
