Ingredients

  • 4 medium carrots
  • 1 Tsp Frozen Chopped Garlic
  • 2 Tsp oregano
  • 2 Tsp paprika
  • salt & pepper

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place one tablespoon of water in the bottom of your steamer basket.
  2. Peel and dice your carrots into medium slices and add to the steamer basket.
  3. Add your garlic and seasonings and mix with your hands.
  4. Place the lid on the steamer and then place in the microwave.
  5. Microwave for 7 minutes.
  6. Then check they are done by doing a fork test. If not soft enough add a couple of extra minutes.

Notes

  • Honey – If you would like microwave carrots with honey, then its best to stir in honey afterwards as you don’t want the honey to burn you.
  • Baby – If you would like to cook baby carrots in the microwave then add a couple of extra minutes to the cook time and then check on them.
