Ice Cream Nachos

Ingredients

  • 12-count pkg. waffle cones
  • (1) pkg. Butter Waffle Cookies (optional, from Trader Joe's)
  • (1) pint Straus Strawberry Ice Cream
  • (1) pint Straus Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  • (1) pint Straus Dutch Chocolate Ice Cream
  • Chocolate Fudge
  • Caramel sauce
  • Whipped Cream
  • Maraschino cherries
Optional Toppings:
  • Sprinkles
  • mini M&M's
  • nuts
  • Fresh Strawberries or Bananas

Instructions

  1. Break the Waffle Cones: Take your waffle cones or bowls and break them into chip-sized pieces. Arrange them on a large serving platter or individual bowls.
  2. Scoop the Ice Cream: Scoop your favorite ice cream flavors and place them over the waffle cone chips.
  3. Pre-scoop the Ice Cream: To make assembly quick and easy, pre-scoop your ice cream and freeze the scoops ahead of time. Use an ice cream scoop to create uniform balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze the scoops for at least 1-2 hours, or until they are firm.
  4. Drizzle with Sauce: Drizzle chocolate sauce and caramel sauce over the ice cream and waffle cone chips.
  5. Add Toppings: Sprinkle your desired toppings over the ice cream nachos. Fresh fruit, Cherries, Nuts, Sprinkles, Candies, Chocolates
  6. Finish with Whipped Cream: Add dollops of whipped cream on top. Serve and Enjoy!
