  • pumpkin pie spice for garnish

Instructions

  2. Pour in the milk and stir to combine.
  3. Top with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spice if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • If you are unable to find the pumpkin pie flavored Torani syrup you can use 1 ½ ounces of simple syrup mixed with ¼ teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice extract instead.
  • If you want to increase the pumpkin flavor without increasing sweetness, you can add ¼ teaspoon of pumpkin pie flavor extract in addition to the Torani syrup.
  • Starbucks pumpkin syrup is actually more like a sauce. It's made with sugar, sweetened condensed milk, and pumpkin puree. I have tried making versions of it at home but find it always leaves the latte with a less than desirable texture. Plus it’s not shelf-stable. If you really want a sauce option instead of flavored syrup, I would recommend using Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce instead.
  • If you don't have an espresso or Nespresso machine to make the espresso in, a french press with bold roast espresso will work. If you're really in a pinch you can use instant espresso.
