Ingredients

  • 6 medium size potatoes washed

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place 1 cup of water into the insert of the instant pot.  Then place the trivet that came with the instant pot on the bottom of the insert as well.
  2. Stab each potato 5-6 times with a fork to allow pressure to release while cooking.
  3. Place the potatoes in the instant pot.  You can stack them as well if needed.
  4. Seal the instant pot.  Choose the high pressure cook option on the instant pot and select from 14-16 minutes depending on the size of the potatoes (if your potatoes are larger than you'll want to use the longer time).
  5. After the cook time is done, allow the pressure to release naturally from the instant pot.
  6. Remove the potatoes from instant pot (carefully as they will be hot).  Top with your favoriting toppings and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can also follow this process for sweet potatoes or a mixture of both regular potatoes and sweet potatoes!
