Instant Pot Beef Tips

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 pounds sirloin beef tips
  • 1/2 medium onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce 
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 21 ounces cream of mushroom soup (2 small cans)
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Set Instant Pot to the saute setting. Once warm, add olive oil, beef tips, and onion. Stir and sauté for 5 minutes or until meat starts to brown.
  2. Add broth, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, cream of mushroom soup and garlic powder. Stir to mix well, and then cover and seal the lid.
  3. Cook on Manual Setting on High Pressure for 25 minutes. It will take a few minutes to come to pressure.
  4. Once done, allow to naturally release for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice (or noodles or mashed potatoes) and serve with french bread to sop up the gravy.
