Instant Pot Brown Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 cups brown rice (not instant rice)
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place brown rice in the pressure cooker.
  2. Pour in water and add in the garlic salt.
  3. Add lid to pressure cooker and make sure the valve is set to sealing.
  4. Press the manual button and move the time to 22 minutes.
  5. Allow it to cook.
  6. Allow the pressure to be release naturally from the instant pot.
  7. Remove lid. Fluff with a fork and enjoy!

Notes

  • Note: If the rice is still wet once you open the lid, allow the rice to sit for 5-10 minutes for some of the water to steam off before serving.
