Instant Pot Chicken and Rice Soup Recipe

This chicken and rice soup recipe is such a quick and easy weeknight dinner that tastes amazing! Make it in an Instant Pot or on the stove-top.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups chicken raw, diced
  • ½ cup rice uncooked
  • 1 cup carrots
  • ½ cup onion
  • ½ cup celery
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

For the Instant Pot
    Cup of Yum
  1. Add all of the ingredients to the Instant Pot. 
  2. Cook on manual high pressure for 2 minutes. 
  3. Allow to naturally release. 
For Stovetop
  1. Add all ingredients to a large pot. 
  2. Bring to a boil and simmer until chicken is cooked through and rice is cooked about 15-20 minutes.
