Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs or as many or as little as you want to cook
  • 1 cup cold water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place the rack that came with your instant pot in the bottom of the pot. Pour in your cold water. Add your eggs (it's okay if they're touching).
  2. Close the lid and set the pressure to high for 5 minutes. It will take several minutes for the pressure to build. Once the timer goes off (after cooking for 5 minutes), allow the pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes (set a timer).
  3. While this is happening, fill a big bowl with ice water. Once your timer goes off, quick release the pressure and open the lid. Remove the eggs and place them in the ice bath for 5 minutes.
  4. You can now peel and use, or refrigerate for up to one week (unpeeled). ENJOY!

Notes

  • Freshness of eggs does not matter!
  • Store hard boiled eggs in refrigerator for up to one week, if unpeeled. Store peeled eggs for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
  • Use as little as 1 egg or up to the max fill line. Same times apply.
  • Cracking of eggs can happen with no rhyme or reason.
