Instructions
- Place the rack that came with your instant pot in the bottom of the pot. Pour in your cold water. Add your eggs (it's okay if they're touching).
- Close the lid and set the pressure to high for 5 minutes. It will take several minutes for the pressure to build. Once the timer goes off (after cooking for 5 minutes), allow the pressure to naturally release for 5 minutes (set a timer).
- While this is happening, fill a big bowl with ice water. Once your timer goes off, quick release the pressure and open the lid. Remove the eggs and place them in the ice bath for 5 minutes.
- You can now peel and use, or refrigerate for up to one week (unpeeled). ENJOY!
Notes
- Freshness of eggs does not matter!
- Store hard boiled eggs in refrigerator for up to one week, if unpeeled. Store peeled eggs for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
- Use as little as 1 egg or up to the max fill line. Same times apply.
- Cracking of eggs can happen with no rhyme or reason.
