Instant Pot Mac and Cheese with Boursin

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces elbow macaroni
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons salted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup 2% milk
  • 5.2 ounces Boursin garlic and herb cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese 5 ounces
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese 4 ounces
  • 1 cup shredded Colby jack cheese 4 ounces

Instructions

  1. Place macaroni noodles, broth, butter, and salt in the pot of your Instant Pot. Set the Instant Pot to high pressure cook for 4 minutes. 12 ounces elbow macaroni, 4 cups chicken broth, 3 tablespoons salted butter, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard, ½ teaspoon black pepper
  2. Do a quick release and remove the lid after all the pressure has been released.
  3. Add the milk and Boursin. Stir until combined. 1 cup 2% milk, 5.2 ounces Boursin garlic and herb cheese
  4. Slowly add the shredded cheese in 1/2 cup increments, gently stirring until cheese is melted and mixed well. Don't add all the cheese at once or it may clump. 1 1/4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 cup shredded colby jack cheese
