Ingredients
- 8 ounces white rice
- 8 ounces water
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
Instructions
- Place the rice in a fine mesh strainer and run it under cold water until the water runs clear.
- Pour the rinsed rice into the Instant Pot followed by the water and salt.
- Lock the lid in place and turn the valve to SEALING.
- Press the RICE button.
- When the timer goes off press CANCEL and then let the Instant Pot do a full natural release. You will know it is done when the float pin drops down.
- Turn the valve to VENTING (no steam should come out because you let the pressure naturally release). Remove the lid and use a fork to fluff the rice.
- Serve.

Notes
- The cook time listed in the recipe card will vary based on how much rice you are cooking. The Instant Pot automatically calculated the cook time for you when you use the "Rice" button.
