Italian Herb Roasted Broccoli
Italian Herb Roasted Broccoli is an incredibly simple side dish that is packed with flavor and pairs well with pasta, chicken, or fish!
Ingredients
- 8 cups broccoli cut in long florets
- 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon oregano dried
- 1 teaspoon rosemary dried
- 1 teaspoon basil dried
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- ½ teaspoon red chili flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon parmesan (garnish)
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees and line a baking sheet with tin foil.
- In a large bowl, coat broccoli with olive oil and sprinkle on all dried spices (oregano through pepper.)
- Mix well – use your hands for this or get the kids involved!
- Roast for 25-30 minutes or until nicely browned.
- Garnish with fresh Parmesan.

- Excellent source of Vitamin A and C, good source calcium and iron.
