Jack in the Box French Toast Sticks

Ingredients

  • 4 lices hearty white bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  1. Using a pizza cutter, cut the crust off of your bread.
  2. Next, cut each slice into 1-inch strips. Set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet over low-medium heat.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar, and salt.
  5. Dip each strip of bread into the egg mixture until all sides are coated.
  6. Allow excess mixture to drip off and then place each strip in your greased, heated skillet.
  7. Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown.
  8. Serve with syrup and enjoy.
