Ingredients
- 4 lices hearty white bread
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Using a pizza cutter, cut the crust off of your bread.
- Next, cut each slice into 1-inch strips. Set aside.
- Heat a large skillet over low-medium heat.
- In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs, milk, sugar, and salt.
- Dip each strip of bread into the egg mixture until all sides are coated.
- Allow excess mixture to drip off and then place each strip in your greased, heated skillet.
- Cook on each side for 3-4 minutes or until they are golden brown.
- Serve with syrup and enjoy.
