Jalapeno Popper Dip

Ingredients

  • (1) ounce pkg. Cream Cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream preferably full-fat
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 fresh jalapeƱos diced and deseeded
  • 8 - 10 lices Bacon cooked until crispy and cut into small bite-size pieces
  • 1 1/2 cup Mexican cheese blend with cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cup Monterey jack cheese

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet or oven at 400 degrees, cook bacon until crispy. Drain on a paper-towel lined plate and cut into pieces.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and salt.
  4. Stir in diced jalapenos.
  5. Fold in bacon (set aside some for topping) and 1 cup of Mexican cheese blend and 1 cup of Monterey Jack cheese, reserving some for topping.
  6. Place in a cast-iron skillet or 8-inch baking dish.
  7. Sprinkle remaining cheese and bacon over dip.
  8. Bake for 16-22 minutes or until cheese is hot and bubbly.
  9. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, or veggies.
