Jalapeño Popper Dip

Loaded with cheesy goodness and a little heat from the jalapeños, this dip tastes just like the classic appetizer!

Ingredients

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 can (4 ounces) diced jalapenos drained
  • 2 ¼ cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon freshly chopped parsley optional
  • Crackers or Tortilla Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch deep dish pie plate OR an 8x8 baking dish with non-stick spray.
  2. Add cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder and sour cream to a large bowl. Using an electric hand mixer, beat until combined and creamy.
  3. Add drained jalapeños, cheddar cheese and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese to mixture. Mix until combined. Spread mixture evenly into prepared pan.
  4. Combine bread crumbs, remaining Parmesan cheese and olive oil to a medium bowl. Mix until combined then sprinkle evenly over the top of dip.
  5. Bake 15 to 20 minutes, or until hot and breadcrumbs are golden brown. Remove from oven and garnish with chopped Parsley, if desired. Serve warm with crackers or chips and enjoy!
