Also called “Le Parisien”, the jambon-beurre is a sandwich made up of a buttered sliced half baguette with slices of ham. It is often served with French pickles (cornichons).

Ingredients
- ½ fresh baguette
- 3 oz. ham bone-in, sliced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (or semi-salted butter), cold
- French pickles (cornichons), optional
Instructions
- Slice open one side of the baguette lengthwise.
- Spread butter on both sides of the bread.
- Gently fold the ham and place it in the baguette.
- Add a few French pickles (optional).
- Close the sandwich and enjoy.
