Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 1/4 cup sake
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger grated

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir occasionally and bring the mixture to a simmer.
  3. Allow the sauce to simmer for 10 minutes, or until it thickens slightly, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool.
