Japanese Beef Tongue

Japanese Beef Tongue showcases thinly sliced beef tongue marinated in a blend of soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sesame oil, then quickly grilled with green onions. The brief grilling time preserves the tongue's tender texture while adding a slight char. Served with lemon juice or sea salt, it highlights the simple yet distinctive flavors of this cut, making it a unique offering that is light and flavorful. This method produces delicate, juicy slices that pair well with the fresh zest of lemon or the subtle seasoning of sea salt.
