Japanese Ginger Dressing is a copycat recipe of many Japanese steakhouses like Benihana and Kobe. Sweet ginger and sesame can be a salad dressing or marinade.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons yellow onion chopped
  • 4 tablespoons peanut oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 teaspoons ginger minced or grated
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons garlic minced or grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients except sesame seeds into a small food processor and pulse for 1 minute, or until desired consistency. Stir in sesame seeds.
