Ingredients

  • 2-1/2 pounds beef chuck roast
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1/4 cup low sodium beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Kraft Ranch Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons Kraft Zesty Italian Salad Dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. In a large heavy bottomed pan, add oil over medium high heat. Salt and pepper the roast. Brown the roast for about 3 minutes on one side and then turn over and brown on the other.
  2. Transfer roast to a slow cooker. Top with sliced onions.
  3. In a small bowl stir together beef broth, ranch dressing, italian dressing, garlic powder, and italian seasoning. Pour over the roast.
  4. Cook in the slow cooker on low for 8 to 10 hours.
