Kentucky Bourbon Grilled Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 loin pork chops (1 Inch thick, about 1½ pounds total)
  • 2 Tablespoons Dijon style mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons molasses
  • 2 Tablespoons bourbon
  • ⅛ teaspoon hot sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon grated orange rind
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl combine the mustard, molasses, bourbon, hot sauce and grated orange rind. Mix well.
  2. Marinate the pork chops in a sealed container in the fridge for 30-40 minutes.
  3. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and grill for 15-25 minutes, turning once or twice. Ensure an internal temperature of 145° has been reached, which is the safe temperature for pork.
  4. Once they are cooked remove the pork chops and place on a plate and cover with foil. Let the pork rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with your favorite salad or side dish of vegetables.
