Kentucky Lemonade

In honor of the Derby, we’re making a Kentucky Lemonade! Feels like the right move if you’re going to be cheers-ing along at home. And it can easily be prepped ahead.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Florida's Natural Lemonade
  • ½ cup fresh mint leaves
  • ½-⅔ cup bourbon
  • 6 cups ginger ale
  • additional lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a pitcher, combine the lemonade, mint leaves, and Bourbon, and stir to combine. Muddle the mint leaves if you want. Let sit for an hour for the flavors to meld together.
  2. Add ginger ale to the pitcher right before serving.
  3. To garish - rim a serving glass with a little honey and dip into sugar and garnish with a lemon wheel.

Notes

  • Pair with mint juleps for the best horse racing party!
