Ingredients
- ½ cup almond flour 50g
- ½ cup Flaxseed 55g, ground
- 3 tablespoon nutritional yeast 35g or 1 cup / 90g grated parmesan ***see notes
- ⅓ teaspoon salt or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper cracked
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder optional
- 2 teaspoon Italian seasoning optional
Instructions
- Put all ingredients into a glass jar.
- Close the lid tightly and shake until combined.
Notes
- Use grated parmesan cheese as a substitute for nutritional yeast; add it just before breading to prevent spoilage.
- Store prepared bread crumbs in the fridge for up to one month or freeze for up to six months.
- For breading, dip your food in whisked egg first, then coat evenly with the bread crumbs before cooking.
- Cook coated foods by frying, air frying, or baking to achieve a crispy crust.
