Keto Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Keto Brussels Sprouts are super easy to make, low in carbs and guaranteed to win you over. Mixing them with bacon and parmesan is the ultimate side dish!

Ingredients

  • 8 slices Bacon cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 pounds Brussels sprouts washed, bottoms trimmed and cut in half
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese

  1. Place a large cast iron skillet over medium heat. Once add the bacon pieces and cook until crispy. Once crispy, transfer to a paper-lined dish.
  2. Drain most of the bacon grease, leaving only about half in the pan. Then add the Brussels sprouts and cook stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
  3. Add in the garlic, paprika, dried parsley, and red pepper flakes. Season with salt and pepper, stir, cover the pan, reduce heat to low and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Add back the bacon and stir and cook uncovered for 5 minutes.
  5. Top with shredded parmesan cheese and serve.
