Ingredients
- ⅔ cup heavy cream
- 5 ounces sugar-free semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 3 tablespoons allulose
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon instant coffee
Instructions
- Dissolve the instant coffee in the hot water, then add it to a saucepan.
- Add in the heavy cream, instant coffee and sweetener, then heat until it has just started to simmer.
- Remove from the heat and add in the vanilla extract and chocolate, let it sit for a few minutes.
- Whisk together until well combined and serve.
- Store leftovers in an airtight jar in the fridge for at least a couple of weeks. The chocolate sauce will thicken as it cools. When you need to use it, just heat it back up in the microwave in 20 second increments and stir.
Cup of Yum
Notes
- Makes about 1 ⅓ cups. Serving size just under 3 tablespoons.
- I used allulose in this recipe, because it doesn't crystallize as it cools. If you can't find allulose, you can substitute with 2 tablespoons of monk fruit or Swerve confectioners.
