Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Strawberries with the tops trimmed
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon banana extract
  • ¼ Cup plain greek yogurt
  • 2 Scoops low carb plain protein powder
  • 1 Cup almond milk unsweetened
  • 1 Cup ice optional

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Place all ingredients- yogurt, banana extract, vanilla extract, strawberries and milk into a food processor or blender and pulse on high until smooth and creamy.
  2. For a thick smoothie use frozen strawberries or add ice.

Notes

  • For an extra creamy texture, freeze your fruit beforehand. This eliminates the need for adding ice, which can sometimes dilute the flavor of the smoothie.
  • If your blender tends to get hard chunks on the bottom, try adding the liquid first so you don't have to scrape the sides as much.
  • Don’t be afraid to experiment with different flavor combinations! Mixing fruits like mango, pineapple, and peaches can create a tropical flavor.
