Ingredients

  • 12 ounces canned tuna
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon finely diced red onion
  • ¼ cup sliced celery
  • 2 tablespoons dill pickle relish
  • 4 Tomato slices from a large tomato
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl combine the tuna, mayonnaise, red onion, celery, and dill relish. Stir to combine.
  2. Place the four tomatoes slices on a baking sheet and sprinkle a little pinch of salt on top of each tomato slice.
  3. Add 1/4 of the tuna mixture on top of each tomato slice.
  4. Top each one with a slice of cheese.
  5. Set oven to Broil and place the baking sheet in the oven. Cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted on top.
  6. Serve immediately.
