Ingredients
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup wholewheat flour
- 3 cups quick oats
- 3/4 cup butter soft
- 1 1/2 cups yellow or brown sugar packed
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 5 tablespoon milk
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup raisins
- 3/4 cup walnuts chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Combine the wholewheat, all-purpose flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl and mix together. Set aside.
- Using a hand mixer or stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar for 3 minutes, then add the egg, vanilla, and milk and beat to combine for about 1 minute.
- Add the flour mixture and mix to combine, followed by the raisins and walnuts.
- Drop tablespoons of cookie dough onto a baking sheet, separating them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to the cooling rack.
