  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup wholewheat flour
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 3/4 cup butter soft
  • 1 1/2 cups yellow or brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 5 tablespoon milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 3/4 cup walnuts chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the wholewheat, all-purpose flour, salt, cinnamon, baking powder, and baking soda in a bowl and mix together. Set aside.
  3. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer with the paddle attachment, beat the butter and sugar for 3 minutes, then add the egg, vanilla, and milk and beat to combine for about 1 minute.
  4. Add the flour mixture and mix to combine, followed by the raisins and walnuts.
  5. Drop tablespoons of cookie dough onto a baking sheet, separating them about 2 inches apart.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
  7. Remove the cookies from the oven and transfer them to the cooling rack.
  8. Enjoy!
