Kool-Aid Play Dough

Colorful scented playdough made with Kool Aid

Servings: 1 batch

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 2 Tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 Tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 packet Kool-Aid we used 1 packet per batch

Instructions

  1. Whisk together all of the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in one packet of Kool Aid for coloring.
  2. Microwave for one minutes, stir, then microwave for 30 more seconds. If needed, continue microwaving in 15-20 second intervals until dough begins to form and pull away from sides of the container (or is no longer soupy).
  3. Allow the dough to cool enough so it is safe to handle, then finish kneading by hand.
  4. Repeat this process for each color of dough you plan to make, using a different packet of Kool-Aid for each color.
