Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup water or low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 2 pinches salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon toasted sesame oil optional
  • 1 green onion thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the eggs until smooth.
  2. Stir in the water or broth and salt, mixing well.
  3. Transfer the egg mixture to a small pot or heat-safe bowl set over simmering water. Heat on medium-low, stirring gently, until the eggs start to set.
  4. Lower the heat to low, cover, and steam for approximately 5-7 minutes until the eggs are fully cooked and fluffy.
  5. Drizzle sesame oil on the eggs (if desired) and top with sliced green onions. Serve right away.
