Ingredients
- 500 g lamb Boneless, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 150 g yoghurt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1- inch ginger grated
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder adjust to taste
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- salt To Taste
- Coriander For garnish
- Lemon wedges For serving
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, paprika, chili powder, garam masala, and a pinch of salt. Mix well to form a smooth marinade.
- Add the lamb pieces to the marinade and ensure they are well-coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill or oven to a high heat (around 220°C or 430°F).
- Thread the marinated lamb pieces onto skewers.
- Place the skewers on the grill or in the oven and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the lamb is cooked through and has a nice char.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with lemon wedges.

- You can adjust the level of spiciness by increasing or decreasing the amount of chilli powder to suit your taste.
- If using wooden skewers, remember to soak them in water for 30 minutes before threading the lamb to prevent them from burning during cooking.
