Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dried lavender flowers (use more lavender flowers if you'd prefer a stronger lavender taste, and use less if you want a subtle flavor.)
- 4 cups water
- 1 cup sugar (or honey)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan or pot, add dried lavender flowers and water. Bring to a boil and stir.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add in honey and stir until dissolved.
- Turn off the heat and let it steep for 1 hour.
- Strain out the lavender using a fine strainer.
- Pour the mixture into a container. Once it’s completely cool, cover with a lid and store in the refrigerator.
