Leftover Candy Bar Bark

Leftover Candy Bar Bark is a simple treat made by melting semi-sweet chocolate chips and spreading them on parchment, then topping with chopped assorted Halloween candy bars. Once set in the refrigerator, it breaks into sweet, crunchy pieces combining chocolate’s smoothness with candy textures, ideal for using leftover candy creatively.

Ingredients

  • 18 ounces chocolate chips or melting disks, semi-sweet
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Halloween candy cut into 1/2 inch chunks, assorted, leftover

Instructions

  1. Line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.




  2. Add the chocolate chips to a large glass bowl.
  3. Microwave the chocolate chips on half power (very important) until melted, stirring every 30 seconds.

  4. Stir in the vanilla extract until smooth.

  5. Pour chocolate evenly into the baking sheet and spread gently.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped and broken candy bars over the chocolate.
  7. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.

  8. Break into chunks to serve.

Notes

  • Use assorted leftover Halloween candies chopped into roughly 1/2 inch pieces for varied texture and flavor.
  • Melting chocolate chips on half power in the microwave prevents burning; stir every 30 seconds for even melting.
