Ingredients

  • 1 large lemon
  • 1 large orange
  • 1 ginger knob roughly 1-2 teaspoons when chopped, more if desired
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 24 ounces hot water

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Slice the lemon and orange into slices. Give them a good squeeze over a large glass jar (like a mason jar) or bowl, then place inside.
  2. Dice the ginger into small pieces, add to the glass jar.
  3. Add a tablespoon of honey to the jar.
  4. Heat up the water to boiling, then add to the jar. Using a long-handled spoon, give the mixture a good stir to help the honey dissolve.
  5. Allow to steep for at least five to ten minutes before drinking. Then enjoy!

Notes

  • I use a 24 ounce mason jar. You could easily use a larger jar, but may want to add a little more ginger. I would also add honey to taste if you use a larger jar.
