Lemon Icing Glaze

An easy sweet and tart lemon icing to drizzle over muffins, cakes or cookies.

Ingredients

  • 130 g icing sugar 1 cup, powdered sugar
  • 75 g butter ⅓ cup, melted salted or unsalted+⅛teaspoon salt
  • 80 mls lemon juice ⅓ cup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons milk

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, use a small whisk to mix 130 g icing sugar, 75 g butter, 80 mls lemon juice, ½ teaspoon vanilla and 2 teaspoons milk together till smooth and creamy. Use straight away before it begins to harden.

Notes

  • Cover and store in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
  • Stir to soften the icing before using.
