Lemon Vinaigrette Dressing

This easy homemade lemon vinaigrette dressing adds fresh, bright flavor to salads, or grilled meats and vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey (See Note)
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper or to taste
  • 6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, agave nectar, dried oregano, salt and pepper.
  2. While whisking, slowly drizzle in the olive oil. Whisk until combined. Serve or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • The agave nectar can be substituted with honey or maple syrup. If a vegan salad dressing is desired, please note that honey is not considered to be vegan.
