Lemon Whipped Cream

This lemon whipped cream was what I used for my shortcake recipe instead of plain whipped cream. It turned out so yummy, but of course what isn't made better with lemon?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Take your whipping cream and start whipping it in your mixer. Add in the sugar, zest and lastly the lemon juice.
  2. Whip until it forms soft peaks.If you want you can refrigerate it for 2-3 hours before serving. This is amazing on fresh strawberries, scones, anything you can pair with whipped cream!
